What is a Chamber? We are an association of local businesses, nonprofits, and civic organizations. Our mission is to promote and support the commercial and civic interests within the City of Malden and affiliated communities. What this means is that we are committed to this community. We are here to support all public and private interests and to cultivate a positive economic climate for job creation and business growth.
Our Chamber includes charities, government agencies, Mom & Pop businesses, and international corporations. We see our job as linking these various entities within our community. We do this in a number of ways. The Malden Chamber of Commerce
performs many roles for our members including advisor, advocate, booster, clearing house, coordinator, facilitator, matchmaker, negotiator, news center, party planner, promoter, and social director. Some examples are the Taste of Malden, the Shining Stars Dinner, and the Mayor’s “State of the City” breakfast. We also help entrepreneurs and established businesses by sponsoring forums and hosting business counseling services. If you would like more information about the Chamber, or are interested in becoming a Chamber member, visit our website at www.maldenchamber.org, or, better yet, come see us at 200 Pleasant Street. Call us at 781 322-4500 to schedule a visit.
